Job summary

Amazon seeks a procurement leader to strategically source products and services for North America Customer Fulfillment Procurement. Lead cross-functional teams and interact with key suppliers to deliver savings and productive category strategies. You will partner with multiple teams, negotiate contracts, and drive continuous improvements while communicating results to senior leadership. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in program or project management and supply chain.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of program or project management experience.
• 5+ years of supply chain experience.
• Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
• Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree required.

Responsibilities

• Establish category sourcing strategies, lead cross-functional strategic sourcing teams, negotiate with suppliers and execute contracts.
• Drive relationships with category suppliers to meet business goals and value targets.
• Manage category suppliers to identify, monitor and optimize opportunities.
• Act as a market intelligence provider regarding categories and share insights with stakeholders.
• Drive supplier relationship management activities to mitigate risk and improve performance.
• Identify, achieve and report on savings and value targets for sourcing activities.
• Align with internal customers to understand business applications of the category.
