Job summary

Insight Global seeks a Component Package Engineer for onsite work in Fort Washington, PA. The role supports design, development, testing, and production scale-up of new package development, collaborating with R&D, marketing, supply chain, and other teams.

The ideal candidate has a packaging or engineering degree and 5+ years of manufacturing experience, with experience writing protocols. Onsite work is required 2 days per week on a W2 basis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Packaging Sciences or Engineering or a related engineering field.
• 5+ years of manufacturing industry experience.
• Experience writing protocols.
• Able to work onsite a minimum of 2 days per week in Ft Washington, PA for the W2 contract.
• US Citizen, Permanent Resident, or H4/GC EAD Visa holder eligible to work directly on Insight Global's W2.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for design, development, testing and production scale-up of new package development.
• Develop and route package development documentation (e.g., Package Component Specifications, Development Plans, Trial Protocols).
• Lead the assessment of design requirements, change scope, packaging and equipment solutions, risk assessments, test plans and conclusions.
