Job summary

Insight Global is assisting a large consumer manufacturing client in finding a Package Engineer to join their team in Summit, NJ or Fort Washington, PA. The role requires onsite presence at least 2 days per week and involves supporting design, development, testing and production scale-up of new package developments.

You will collaborate across research and development, marketing, market research, supply chain, process excellence, and other departments to address packaging needs and to develop,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Packaging Sciences or Engineering or a related engineering field.
• 3+ years of manufacturing industry experience.
• Experience writing Protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support in design, development, testing and production scale-up of new package development.
• Collaborate with research and development, marketing, market research, supply chain, process excellence, and other departments to identify packaging needs.
• Develop, write, gain cross-functional alignment, and route package development documentation for end-to-end projects.
• Lead design requirements, scope changes, packaging solution proposals, risk assessments, test plans and result analyses.
