Job summary

Avtron Power Solutions, LLC. in Cleveland, OH is seeking an Order Specialist – Sales Order Intake to manage front-end sales order intake, PO review, and order processing within the order-to-cash process.

You will ensure orders are complete, pricing aligned, and documented before creation, acting as a gate to minimize rework and delays. The role supports Sales, Engineering, Customer Success, Finance, Operations, and other teams, with occasional travel up to 10% for training and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 4+ years of experience in sales operations, commercial operations, order management, or similar order-to-cash functions.
• Working knowledge of customer purchase orders, sales orders, order entry requirements, and related processes.
• Ability to assess POs, quotations, pricing, delivery terms, and basic contractual language for completeness and alignment.
• Strong written and verbal communication with cross-functional coordination.
• Experience using ERP, CRM, order management, or workflow tracking systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams).
• Process-oriented mindset with the ability to follow SOPs and maintain documentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage front-end sales order intake for customer purchase orders and ensure information is complete before order creation.
• Review POs, quotations, pricing, delivery dates, freight terms, payment terms, and documentation for completeness and risk.
• Serve as a commercial quality gate for orders with delivery timelines, hold-for-submittal, or liquidated damages exposure.
• Escalate unresolved information to owners or leadership for timely resolution.
