Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Advanced degree may be desirable.
• 5 years of relevant scheduling experience required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of surgical scheduling staff.
• Develop scheduling strategies to increase operational efficiencies.
• Manage system-wide projects to support strategic goals.
• Provide data and create reports for surgical departments and administrators related to OR utilization and volumes.
• Lead OR block management and allocation to optimize patient access and satisfaction.
• Collaborate with Perioperative leaders, nurse leaders, surgeons, anesthesiologists, medical directors, and other Perioperative support departments.
• Travel to multiple locations on a regular basis.
