Job summary

ABB Optical Group is seeking an Optical Sales Consultant to drive field-based sales with Eye Care Practitioners in the United States. You will deepen relationships with Key Accounts, meet quotas, and promote the full line of optical products and services across ABB Pillars.

Daily in-person visits and 30%+ overnight travel are required to grow revenue and margin. The role emphasizes consultative selling, territory planning, and quarterly business reviews with top accounts to maximize

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required.
• 3+ years of field-based B2B sales or optical retail sales with quota responsibility.
• Valid state driver’s license is required.
• Proficiency with PC applications including Excel, Teams/Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
• This role requires daily in-person customer visits.
• Overnight travel of about 30–50% may be required.

Responsibilities

• Achieve quarterly sales objectives through face-to-face meetings with accounts.
• Manage a book of existing customers, delivering key messages with appropriate call frequency.
• Grow territory revenue by expanding existing accounts and by cold-calling new prospects.
• Cross-sell within accounts to increase revenue and meet sales goals.
• Negotiate service agreements and contracts outlining terms with ABB customers.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews to align products and services with account goals.
