Dyne Therapeutics seeks a Senior Director, Business Strategy & Operations – Office of the CCO to lead critical strategic initiatives and shape the Commercial organization at a pivotal stage. You will partner with the CCO and Leadership Team to drive priorities, decisions, and execution, influencing enterprise-wide outcomes.

The role offers high visibility, requires strategic rigor and strong execution, and is based in Waltham, MA.

Qualifications

• 15+ years experience operating as a strategic advisor to C-suite executives.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, PharmD, PhD) preferred.
• Strategy consulting background within life sciences preferred.
• Exceptional strategic problem-solving and analytical capabilities; able to structure ambiguous questions and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence effectively without formal authority.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; able to simplify complexity for senior audiences.
• Strong judgment and maturity navigating complex, confidential issues.
• Commercial strategy, rare disease, or product launch experience.
• Experience supporting an organization through late-stage development, significant growth, or commercialization.
• Strong prioritization, organizational awareness, and follow-through.
• Highly self-directed in dynamic environments with evolving priorities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted strategic advisor to the CCO and help identify, frame, and resolve high-priority issues.
• Partner with the CCO and Commercial Leadership Team to assess priorities and translate decisions into action.
• Develop clear, decision-oriented insights and recommendations for executive leadership.
• Lead high-priority strategic initiatives across functions and resolve ownership ambiguities.
• Shape and evolve the Commercial operating model as Dyne grows toward launch.
• Establish leadership rhythm with planning, governance, and business reviews.
