Job summary

Hatch, based in Salt Lake City, UT, seeks an Operational Readiness Leader to drive safety-first, collaborative execution on mega projects in metals, energy, and infrastructure. You will lead operations readiness planning, oversee resource allocation, and partner with EPCM stakeholders to ensure safe ramp-up and handover with cross-functional teams.

The role requires mentoring operations readiness managers, working across borders in a flat organization, and travel to remote sites as needed to

Qualifications

• 15+ years in operation excellence and readiness program delivery.
• Experience on mega projects (> $1B).
• Cross-functional experience in operations (site, maintenance, HSE, etc.).
• Proven client engagement and business development.
• Deep sector experience in Metals, Energy or Infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Role model safety culture, collaborative leadership, and behaviors.
• Develop and implement operations readiness strategies for large projects.
• Oversee planning, scheduling and resource allocation across phases.
• Liaise with senior EPCM and commissioning stakeholders for interfacing.
• Lead site operations readiness teams ensuring safe, quality delivery.
• Guide owner and operations teams with readiness programs and ramp-up.
• Travel to remote sites and participate in fly-in/fly-out assignments.
• Translate readiness learnings into operational support opportunities.
