Job summary

Hatch in Salt Lake City seeks an Engineering Manager to lead engineering and design activities for major projects. You will collaborate with the Project Manager, coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, and ensure timely, safe, and compliant technical deliverables within the engagement.

You will drive planning, resource allocation, and technical leadership, leveraging Hatch’s digital standards and 3D design tools to deliver world-class outcomes across mining, energy, and infrastructure sectors.

Qualifications

• Essential: BSc/BEng in engineering.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer where applicable.
• Typically 12 years in a multi-disciplinary environment.
• Typically 3 years leading design engineering teams.
• Strong knowledge of engineering systems, processes, and standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering activities on the engagement and assist the Project Manager.
• Plan and sequence engineering work with schedule and budget.
• Ensure design deliverables meet quality and safety standards.
• Coordinate with procurement, construction, safety and commissioning.
• Develop and lead engagement governance, reviews and audits.
