Hatch is seeking a dynamic Junior Operational Readiness Specialist to join the Business Practices Consulting group in Salt Lake City, UT. You will support offices globally, helping develop and maintain readiness plans, schedules, and documentation to ensure a smooth startup and turnover.

The role emphasizes collaboration across operations, maintenance, engineering, project management, training, and safety teams, with in-office expectations and some remote flexibility.

Qualifications

• Recent or soon‑to‑be university graduates with relevant skills
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering
• Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale

Responsibilities

• Assist with development and maintenance of Operational Readiness plans, schedules, and tracking tools
• Support readiness assessments and milestone reviews
• Help identify activities required to prepare operations and maintenance teams for equipment startup and turnover
• Coordinate with operations, maintenance, engineering, project management, training, and safety teams
• Facilitate meetings, document action items, and track completion of readiness deliverables
• Support training program development and training schedule coordination
