Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking an Operations Project Engineer to oversee manufacturing projects from planning to completion at our Mukwonago plant. You’ll collaborate with NPD leaders, engineers, and technicians to deliver on scope, budget, and schedule while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

The role requires a technical or manufacturing background, strong communication, and the ability to influence stakeholders across levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or related work experience in mechanical/industrial/manufacturing engineering or operations.
• Experience leading projects in a manufacturing setting and coordinating across teams.
• Familiarity with ERP and WMS tools such as Dynamics AX and High Jump is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define project objectives, scope, and deliverables in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Develop detailed project plans with schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely execution.
• Lead multiple medium-scale operations projects including NPD, process improvement, and manufacturing support.
• Monitor progress, manage risks, and keep milestones on track.
• Visit the Mukwonago plant regularly and participate in occasional Milwaukee office meetings as needed.
• Provide technical guidance to designers, technicians, and contractors to ensure task completion.
