Job summary

Blue Cross NC is hiring a Business Operations Advisor to join the Network Operations Team. You will provide department and divisional business support, including operational planning, budgeting analysis, reporting, data handling and project coordination.

The role emphasizes workforce planning, SOP adoption, change management, KPI tracking and executive reporting, with collaboration across leaders and external partners to drive efficiency and value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree required.
• 3+ years of experience in related field required.
• In lieu of degree, 5+ years of experience in related field.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate planning of strategic goals and development of departmental/divisional operational plans.
• Coordinate, plan and facilitate various departmental/divisional events to improve effectiveness.
• Assist with workforce planning and staffing models, tracking hires by budget & competency.
• Aid in adoption of SOPs and educate stakeholders about new procedures.
• Lead change management to support business and process improvements.
• Handle special projects and evaluate opportunities to reduce costs/improve efficiencies.
• Review industry trends and brief leadership on issues of importance.
