Job summary

Blue Cross NC seeks a Principal Value-Based Care Operations Advisor to lead end-to-end design and optimization of value-based care programs across the full lifecycle. You will align clinical, network, finance, actuarial, analytics, and operations to ensure scalable, measurable outcomes.

With 8+ years in healthcare operations, you will translate strategy into operating models, drive performance, and mentor teams while partnering with senior leaders to advance reimbursement and provider engagement.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in healthcare operations or value-based care programs.
• Experience with payer-provider strategy, healthcare analytics, and performance measurement.
• Experience across clinical operations, finance, analytics, and network engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end operational design of value-based care programs including shared savings and risk models.
• Translate program objectives into workflows, governance, and execution plans.
• Identify gaps in contracting, attribution, performance measurement, reporting, and settlement processes.
• Partner with clinical, finance, actuarial, analytics, and network teams for alignment.
• Support development of VBC operating models and scalable processes.
