Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina is seeking a Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis to lead a finance team and partner with operating divisions. You will drive financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to support strategic decisions and resource stewardship.

The role emphasizes collaboration with senior leaders, development of budgets, integration of operational metrics, and providing insights to optimize financial performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree required.
• 8+ years of experience in related field.
• In lieu of degree, 10+ years of experience in related field.
• Experience with Workday and Adaptive Planning is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis across divisions.
• Act as liaison to mobilize financial resources to address business problems.
• Develop and communicate annual operating budgets and monthly forecasts.
• Integrate operational metrics into financial management goals and strategies.
• Ensure reporting and analysis align with financial models in collaboration with Finance teams.
• Identify drivers and constraints to maximize throughput with minimal cost.
• Advise senior management on long- and short-term financial implications of initiatives.
• Support business case development and ongoing monitoring of performance against plan.
• Align long-term OPEX targets with market pricing and affordability requirements.
• Communicate effectively with COO leadership to focus on goals.
