Job summary

Tempus is seeking a leader to oversee the TIME operations portfolio, collaborating with internal partners to develop operational plans, KPIs, and deliverables across pharma studies. You will manage a cross-functional team and serve as the primary contact for client relationships to ensure satisfaction and continued growth.

Responsibilities include coordinating RFIs, legal reviews, and contracts; driving rapid start-up of cancer studies; identifying risks; and expanding partnerships with pharma

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 7+ years of experience in complex clinical trials
• Understanding of FDA regulations, GCP, trial budgets, IRB submission, pharma operations
• Collaborative team player in a high growth environment
• Exceptional customer service and strong interpersonal and problem solving skills
• Organized with attention to detail and commitment to process improvement
• Flexible and adaptable; able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Executive presence with experience in business analysis and project management
• Understanding of translational research, oncology and clinical development at pharma companies

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute client's TIME operations by developing operational plans, KPIs and unique deliverables
• Lead operational and high level scientific support on areas of high need for individual clients
• Manage all customer requests for RFIs, legal reviews, questionnaires, scientific engagements, procurement reviews and KPI measurements
• Serve as a key point of contact for portfolio of studies to ensure customer satisfaction and growth
• Organize cross-functional working groups with partners and lead steering committees with senior pharma and Tempus leadership
• Assess need for engagement of Tempus subject matter experts across product areas
• Develop understanding of contracts relevant to partnership and ensure flawless execution including financial management
• Proactively identify and raise issues; provide recommendations for resolutions
• Lead account health progress checks across business units, sites, trials and projects
• Champion the partnership’s strategic intent and expansion opportunities
• Maintain and expand collaborations with pharmaceutical partners/CROs
• Oversee execution of deliverables for pharma clients with focus on quality and timelines
• Manage day-to-day execution of studies within the TIME network from start-up to closure
• Directly manage TIME Operations managers to execute study start-up and patient matching
• Assist in creating innovative tactics, processes, tools, systems and strategies to accelerate cancer trials
• Identify risks to studies and coordinate with partners to resolve issues
• Occasional Travel required
