Job summary

Shields Health Solutions is seeking a Manager of Strategic Operations - Health System Strategy to drive high-impact initiatives across our health system portfolio. This role emphasizes strategic planning, analytics, and executive communication in a fast-paced environment.

Reporting to Strategic Operations leadership, you will shape priorities, lead cross-functional projects, and deliver actionable insights that improve performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 4–6+ years of experience in management/healthcare consulting, investment banking, private equity, or corporate strategy.
• Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving abilities with the ability to translate data into insights.
• Proven project management experience leading initiatives across multiple stakeholders and functions.
• Experience developing executive-level presentations, strategic recommendations, and business cases.
• Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, written communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and drive initiatives from concept through execution.

Responsibilities

• Support strategic planning, business priorities, and portfolio-wide initiatives with senior leaders.
• Define, measure, and accelerate key success metrics for health system accounts.
• Use data to identify opportunities, measure performance, and inform leadership decisions.
• Develop executive presentations, dashboards, and strategic recommendations for client stakeholders.
• Lead cross-functional projects from scoping through implementation.
• Support account planning, renewal readiness, and growth opportunities across the portfolio.
• Create scalable processes, tools, and operating models to improve efficiency and visibility.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational objectives.
