Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Operations Manager in El Paso, TX to lead a mixed team of salaried and hourly staff, drive safety, quality and productivity, and deliver on-time customer orders. You will mentor teams, manage cross-functional projects, and use data-driven decisions to improve efficiency and performance across the three workflow stages.

The role requires 3+ years of people management and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with flexibility for shift work, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• Experience with lean processes, Kaizen, and Six Sigma is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your salaried and hourly workforce
• Lead large-scope projects with site and regional impact
• Build and execute productivity plans through forecast reviews and load balancing
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, HR to meet objectives
• Lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk up to 12 hours
• Work in environments with variable temperatures and outdoor loading areas
• Continuously climb and descend stairs where applicable
