DH Pace Company, Inc. in Springdale, Arkansas seeks an Operations Manager to lead our Operations Department and drive efficiency, safety, and profitability across building materials and construction services.

The role focuses on optimizing processes, aligning budgets with sales goals, coaching staff, and delivering exceptional customer service while pursuing continued growth and return business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred with 2 years’ performance as Department Manager, Operations Manager and/or Project Manager in the Service Provider industry with familiarity and knowledge of construction project management and installation of building materials.
• Ability for technical applications, mechanical/electrical systems and problem solving.
• Experience conducting meetings with exempt and non-exempt personnel, as well as hiring, training, developing and conducting annual performance reviews.
• Hands-on environment with emphasis on meeting deadlines and unmatched customer service.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee operations and personnel to be efficient, effective, safe, and profitable.
• Improve operational processes and procedures with emphasis on maximizing profit and return with a focus on customer satisfaction and repeat business.
• Ensure scheduled jobs are timely and performed to meet divisional budgeted sales and gross profit objectives.
• Collaborate to align operating budgets and sales goals and monitor monthly progress.
• Deliver Profit Dollars and return on sales that meets or exceeds the yearly budget/forecast.
• Establish objectives and action plans aligned with corporate goals and monitor performance.
• Hire, train and develop new employees; coach and review performance.
• Lead meetings, set expectations, and hold staff accountable.
• Communicate with customers to solicit feedback and identify new sales opportunities.
