Caring Hands Behavioral Health Center in Baltimore seeks an experienced healthcare operations leader to serve as Director of Behavioral Health Operations & Administration, reporting to the CEO. This role focuses on day-to-day operations, staff management, and process improvement to support high-quality patient care.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strategic thinking, accountability, and the ability to drive performance across administrative, clinical, and billing workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Health Services, Public Health, Behavioral Health, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible healthcare/behavioral health/medical-practice operations experience.
• Supervisory or management experience.
• Ability to manage employees, contractors, multiple priorities, and deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365, electronic health records, and healthcare admin systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day administrative and operational functions.
• Serve as primary operational liaison between CEO, staff, clinicians, and contractors.
• Supervise administrative personnel and ensure accountability across departments.
• Monitor staff performance and deadlines; coordinate onboarding and offboarding.
• Oversee referrals, intake processes, scheduling, authorizations, eligibility verification.
• Review payroll and contractor invoices for accuracy.
