Job summary

Citizenship and Immigration Services is seeking an Executive Officer to plan, execute, support and refine daily operations of the Office of the Director, ensuring resources align with mission and priorities. You will lead high-impact projects and provide leadership across agency programs.

The role emphasizes supervising staff, managing budgets and logistics, and shaping agency-wide initiatives in a high-stakes federal environment.

Qualifications

• Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service.
• GS-15: You qualify at the GS-15 level if you possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-14.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and/or mentoring staff personnel, including assigning and reviewing work products, setting performance expectations, and providing feedback.
• Managing office resources including human resources, budget and finance, property, security, emergency management/operations, and logistics.
• Leading special projects that have an agency wide impact.
• Providing leadership support in agency-level programs and initiatives affecting the agency's mission and priorities.
