Job summary

UAB Medicine is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee planning, management and analysis of clinical practice operations, program development, information systems, HR and compliance within the Department. You will serve as the principal advisor to the Executive Administrator and the Vice Chair(s) for Clinical Affairs and Quality.

Requires a Master's degree in Business Administration or Health Administration and at least five years of progressively responsible healthcare leadership experience;

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, or similar field.
• Minimum of 5 years progressively responsible experience in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• The Operations Manager helps to ensure successful planning, management and analysis of clinical practice operations, program development, information systems, human resources, and compliance, to optimize the Department’s operational activities.
• This position functions as the principal advisor to the Executive Administrator and the Vice Chair(s) for Clinical Affairs and Quality on all clinical administrative matters pertaining to the Department.
