GEO Corrections & Detentions is seeking a Finance Manager to lead budgeting, accounting, and financial reporting for the facility and related support services. The role drives cost control, billing, and contract administration in a dynamic correctional environment.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, coordinating with the Warden on budget goals, and ensuring accurate financial records and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, or accounting required.
• Master's degree can substitute for one year of supervisory experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years of work experience in a finance-related role with budget preparation or administration of government contracts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops, manages, and implements operational procedures and policies for facility operations and support services.
• Prepares and monitors annual budget; advises management of budget status.
• Monitors staffing roster and medical costs; coordinates with Warden to achieve monthly budget.
• Directs work of other employees including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
• Directs maintenance of accounting records and reconciliation of accounts.
• Prepares billing documents and invoices for payment.
• Reviews and approves all financial and accounting records and transactions.
• Manages receiving, storage, and accountability of supplies and equipment.
