Job summary

The Mandel JCC of the Palm Beaches in Boynton Beach, FL seeks a Director of Business Operations to guide administrative and operational functions supporting the organization. Reporting to the CFO, the role combines strategic leadership with hands-on management of facilities, procurement, and CRM systems.

The position oversees financial controls, vendor relations, contracts, and technology coordination, ensuring compliant and efficient operations across campuses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership track record.
• Project management experience required.
• Experience managing contracts, procurement and compliance.
• Knowledge of Jewish culture, traditions and celebrations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and continually improve administrative systems and procedures.
• Maintain organizational policies and operational procedures.
• Oversee records, reports, and operational statistics.
• Coordinate building coverage for events and programs.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through process, technology and admin systems.
• Lead projects assigned by the CFO.
• Monitor budgets and ensure compliance with approved budgets.
• Maintain internal controls and fiscal accountability.
• Review operational expenditures for cost savings.
• Oversee procurement and vendor management processes.
• Review contracts with CFO and legal as needed.
• Coordinate contract renewals and templates.
• Provide oversight of facilities operations across campuses.
• Plan major projects and capital improvements within budget.
• Monitor facility conditions and plan maintenance and investments.
• Coordinate CRM, IT and data quality initiatives.
