Uber Technologies Inc. is seeking a Strategic Operations Associate to help shape the US & Canada Mobility strategy and to work with cross-functional partners across operations, marketing, customer support, product, policy, and legal.

You will analyze data, identify opportunities, and drive initiatives that balance the marketplace and improve the rider and earner experience. The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, stakeholder collaboration, and execution in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 1+ years of experience in investment banking, consulting, business intelligence, strategy or related experience.
• Excel proficiency (modeling, data visualization).

Responsibilities

• Strategic Ownership: Help develop, lead, and implement strategy to achieve business priorities.
• Business Influence: Monitor, understand, and interpret key operational and financial metrics to help figure out strategy and action plans.
• Problem Solving: Identify the root cause of risks and opportunities, propose multiple, practical solutions, and weigh tradeoffs.
• Process Optimization: Implement, optimize, and scale core analyses and processes, regularly reviewing performance.
• Product Improvement: Proactively search for new features or improvements that could improve the experience and efficiency of our marketplace.
• Stakeholder Management: Maintain productive relationships with cross-functional partners to scope, test and implement initiatives.
