Job summary

Uber Technologies Inc. is seeking a Strategic Operations Manager for the Grocery & Retail segment within Uber Eats.

You will own high-priority initiatives from strategy through execution, build dashboards, and translate data into actionable insights to inform growth and improve customer and merchant experience. Successful candidates are highly analytical, excel in ambiguity, and can both strategize and roll up their sleeves to execute.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in analytics, operations, strategy, business intelligence, project management, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong SQL proficiency and data-driven decision making.
• Experience building dashboards in Looker/Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Own high-priority initiatives end-to-end — define the problem, build a plan, coordinate stakeholders, drive execution, and measure outcomes
• Build and maintain reporting and dashboards — create trusted views of performance, support recurring business reviews, and help the team understand what is happening and why
• Turn data into insights and action — analyze performance trends, identify opportunities, and synthesize findings into clear recommendations
• Spot gaps and build solutions — identify where measurement, process, or operating structure is missing or broken, then help create the framework needed to close it
• Collaborate cross-functionally — work across teams including Category, Growth, and Marketing to translate business priorities into action, align stakeholders, and unblock execution
