Bread Financial seeks a Lead - Operational Risk Business Specialist to proactively identify operational risks and ensure controls are in place by the first line of defense.

You will partner with senior leaders to integrate risk practices into strategic plans, challenge risk assessments, and drive risk mitigation across functions.

This role supports governance of RCSA, issues management, and risk reporting, fostering a strong risk culture company-wide.

Qualifications

• Experience managing risk programs (RCSA, issues management, risk assessments) and operational loss reporting.
• Ability to challenge first line of defense and guide risk mitigation.
• Knowledge of risk reporting measures and RAMs/KRIs.
• Experience communicating with senior leadership on risk strategies.

Responsabilités

• Governance and oversight of key operational risk programs.
• Review risk assessments and provide guidance on mitigation.
• Provide training on risk concepts to staff.
• Analyze data and produce strategic risk recommendations.
• Support business initiatives and assess upstream/downstream impacts.
