Job summary

Sumitomo Pharma America seeks a dynamic Medical Science Liaison to integrate scientific expertise with medical strategies across oncology. You will build long-term peer relationships with national, regional, and local thought leaders and clinicians, exchanging scientific information and supporting the company’s development portfolio.

You will educate priority HCPs on R&D initiatives, gather insights to inform clinical and marketing strategies, and represent the company at Oncology conferences

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
• Advanced degree strongly preferred (NP, PA, MD, PharmD, PhD).
• 5+ years MSL experience for non-advanced degree candidates.
• 5+ years relevant scientific/clinical oncology experience for Sr. MSL.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships with HCPs and KOLs.

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage national, regional, and local Oncology thought leaders and HCPs.
• Serve as the primary scientific contact and build long-term peer relationships.
• Exchange scientific information relevant to the development portfolio.
• Educate priority HCPs on research and development initiatives.
• Gather medical insights to inform clinical strategies.
• Represent the company at Oncology conferences and meetings.
