Job summary

Sumitomo Pharma America, Inc. is seeking a dynamic Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to integrate scientific expertise with medical strategies across our oncology portfolio. You will build relationships with key opinion leaders and regional clinicians to support development and marketed products.

Qualifications

• Oncology knowledge and scientific background preferred.
• Strong leadership and time management skills.
• Ability to build trust with thought leaders and clinicians.
• Excellent communication and diplomacy to engage diverse stakeholders.
• Understanding of the product lifecycle and clinical development.

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage oncology thought leaders and HCPs at national, regional, and local levels.
• Serve as primary scientific contact and build long-term peer relationships.
• Exchange scientific information relevant to development portfolio.
• Support relationships between key opinion leaders and internal product teams.
• Educate priority HCPs on research and development initiatives.
• Gather medical insights to inform clinical and marketing strategies.
• Provide overview of company areas of interest for investigator sponsored studies.
• Contribute to internal educational activities and training.
• Represent the company at Oncology conferences and scientific meetings.
• Lead relevant projects within the field medical organization.
