Job summary

Qualifications

• Oncology/hematology-oncology experience preferred.
• Understanding of coverage, coding, billing, reimbursement, and payer policy.
• Ability to communicate coding and billing requirements at national/regional levels.
• Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement dynamics.
• HCIR credentialing requirements and relevant licenses.
• Strong territory and account management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Educate HCPs on patient support programs and reimbursement tools.
• Educate on product-specific acquisition and access options such as networks and white-bagging.
• Provide resources to address access issues.
• Contribute local expertise on payor policies for providers on payer issues and claims submission.
• Collaborate with Oncology stakeholders for key account management.
• Report payer trends to Patient Services and MHC teams.
• Establish relationships with providers within the territory.
• Stay current on managed care, reimbursement, and policy activities.
