DCS Corp is seeking an Human Relations Specialist – Onboarding and Employee Engagement in Houston to drive onboarding, employee experience, and engagement initiatives within a government-focused, employee-owned organization.

The role emphasizes data-driven staffing planning, collaboration across leaders, and delivering documentation and communications describing strategy and implementation recommendations.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret clearance.
• Education and experience requirements: High School Diploma/GED +10 yrs; Associate +4 yrs; Bachelor +2 yrs; Master +1 yr.
• Former Military experience.
• Excellent attention to detail to verify, proofread, and edit documents to meet requirements.
• Strong initiative and ability to work independently in a matrix environment.
• Ability to own issues and solve problems independently.
• Strong relationship skills and ability to work across multiple levels.
• Experience advising Government management on staffing plans, PDs, and related staffing matters.
• Experience coordinating with College Outreach programs to diversify the workforce.
• Experience advising on Army Acquisition Workforce programs and Acquisition Certification requirements.
• Experience compiling data for long-term strategic human capital planning.

Responsibilities

• Execute internal HR processes to support onboarding and employee engagement.
• Review organizational requirements and gather data on turnover, restructuring, and staffing needs.
• Maintain statistical data and provide trend reports on workforce positions.
• Gather stakeholder inputs and communicate the organization's strategy and recommendations.
• Coordinate with Government leads on staffing plans and position descriptions, and related management options.
