Job summary

NYC Health + Hospitals is seeking an Onboarding Specialist to manage the successful onboarding of new hires, rehires, and transfers at Lincoln Hospital. You will coordinate offers, onboarding packages, and orientation, while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with policies and laws.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in HR Management, Business Administration, Public Relations, Healthcare Administration, Psychology, Communications or a related discipline; or an Associate’s Degree with two years HR experience (onboarding focus).
• Experience in onboarding new hires and working in a public/governmental sector preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares offer letters and onboarding packages and sends notifications regarding employment status or changes.
• Coordinates confidential onboarding activities, schedules orientation, and assists candidates with the HCM system.
• Communicates proactively with candidates and serves as primary contact for onboarding questions.
