Qualifications

• Active Michigan Nursing Home Administrator license required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; advanced degree a plus.
• Previous leadership experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care environment required.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, mentorship, and development for department leaders and staff.
• Oversee daily operations to align with goals and budget.
• Contribute to annual operating plan and financial targets.
• Monitor census growth, revenue cycle, and financial outcomes.
• Ensure high-quality resident care in collaboration with clinical leadership.
• Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Develop and implement strategic plans for operations and quality outcomes.
• Review performance metrics with department heads to meet goals.
• Oversee admissions processes based on resident needs and finances.
• Monitor accounts receivable and support revenue collection.
• Lead performance improvement initiatives to address challenges.
• Address employee concerns with HR to maintain a positive culture.
• Enforce policies and provide coaching as needed.
• Review and approve payroll and staffing allocations.
• Ensure appropriate staffing levels and resource reallocation.
• Promote resident satisfaction by acting on feedback.
• Monitor workplace safety and claims management.
• Ensure timely regulatory reporting.
