Job summary

Charlevoix Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility is seeking an experienced Administrator to lead daily operations and align clinical and business goals. You will oversee clinical coordination, regulatory compliance, budgeting, and staffing to ensure high-quality resident care.

The role requires proven leadership in long-term care, excellent communication, and the ability to balance multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Current Nursing Home Administrator license in the applicable state.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; advanced degree a plus.
• Previous leadership experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care environment required.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, mentorship, and development for department leaders and staff, promoting professionalism and accountability.
• Oversee daily operations to align with goals and budget.
• Contribute to annual operating plan and financial targets.
• Monitor census growth, revenue cycle, and financial outcomes.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality resident care with clinical leadership.
• Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Develop and implement strategic plans for operational success.
• Review performance metrics with department heads to reach goals.
• Oversee admissions processes based on resident needs and finances.
• Monitor accounts receivable and support revenue collection processes.
• Lead performance improvement initiatives to address challenges.
• Address employee concerns in coordination with HR.
• Enforce policies and provide coaching or corrective action when needed.
• Review and approve payroll and staffing allocations.
• Ensure appropriate staffing levels and resource reallocation for quality care.
• Promote resident satisfaction by reviewing feedback and implementing improvements.
• Monitor workplace safety initiatives and claims management.
