Qualifications

• Current Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) license in good standing in Michigan.
• Experience as NHA in a skilled nursing or long-term care facility.
• Strong leadership, organizational, financial, and communication skills.
• Thorough knowledge of federal and state regulations governing long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations and overall management of the skilled nursing facility.
• Ensure the facility maintains high standards of resident care and quality outcomes.
• Implement and monitor quality assurance programs and regulatory initiatives.
• Lead preparation for and successful completion of annual state surveys.
• Manage financial performance, budgeting, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with physicians, department heads, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant environment for residents, staff, visitors.
• Develop, implement, and enforce facility policies and procedures.
• Recruit, mentor, and support department leaders; promote engagement.
