Job summary

Vistra Nuclear Operations Company is seeking a Project Manager to lead small to large scale O&M and Capital projects, managing budgets and schedules, and guiding project teams to peak performance.

The role covers requirements definition through deployment, including risk mitigation, resource coordination, and stakeholder communication to ensure scope, schedule and budget adherence across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with 8–10 years of project leadership experience.
• Professional certification such as CAPM or PMP recommended or pursued within 2 years of becoming PM.
• Experience at a commercial nuclear power plant preferred.
• Strong attention to schedule deadlines and budgetary guidelines.
• Proven ability to communicate with all management levels and present formally.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction for major projects within an EPC delivery model.
• Oversee EPC performance and ensure contractor adherence to contractual obligations.
• Maintain risk registers and implement mitigation actions.
• Track financials, invoices, and progress payments; manage claims and disputes.
• Ensure readiness for turnover, testing, and operations; coordinate with stakeholders.
• Support project reporting requirements and adjust scope/schedule/budget as needed.
• Develop and maintain high-quality PM documentation.
