Job summary

Vistra Nuclear Operations Company is seeking an experienced engineer to drive long-term life cycle strategies for its nuclear fleet. You will oversee outages, component replacement plans and asset management while coordinating with cross-functional teams to maintain safety and cost-effectiveness.

The role requires a BS in Engineering with strong nuclear tech knowledge and excellent communication skills to engage with internal teams and external regulators.

Qualifications

• BS or higher in an Engineering discipline; nuclear focus preferred.
• Professional Engineer license or equivalent experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory, code and industry issues affecting Vistra.
• Ability to communicate with peers, management and external agencies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement long-term life cycle management strategies for the Vistra nuclear fleet.
• Create long-range plans for component replacement, refurbishment, and outages.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on outage scope and preventative maintenance.
• Oversee asset life cycle tracking and coordinate with supply chain partners.
