Job summary

Vistra Nuclear Operations Company seeks a Project Manager II to lead small to large O&M and Capital initiatives in a Nuclear operations setting. You will drive projects from requirements through deployment, coordinating internal and external resources to meet scope, schedule, and budget while mitigating risks.

Strong communication and leadership are essential for success. The role emphasizes budget control, schedule adherence, and developing project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or Project Management.
• Eight to ten (8-10) years of experience leading and managing projects.
• CAPM or PMP certification recommended / within 2 years of becoming Project Manager II.
• Strong attention to schedule deadlines and budgetary guidelines.
• Proven ability to work with all levels of management.
• Strong written and oral/verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and AI applications.
• Willing and able to travel domestically to vendor locations.

Responsibilities

• Manage small to large scale O&M and Capital projects with budget maintenance and schedule adherence.
• Lead project teams from requirements definition through deployment.
• Coordinate internal and external resources to meet scope, schedule, and budget.
• Develop and maintain project management documentation.
• Establish relationships with client stakeholders and provide day-to-day project updates.
• Manage scope changes and risk mitigation activities.
