Job summary

Vistra Corp. in Texas seeks a Project Manager II to lead small to large O&M and Capital projects, ensuring budgets and milestones are met. This role develops the project team, drives requirements from definition through deployment, and coordinates resources to meet scope and schedule.

Responsibilities include managing scope, risk, and communications with stakeholders, plus rapid reporting of status and changes. Some travel to vendor sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or Project Management with 8–10 years of experience.
• Experience leading and managing projects with focus on scope, schedule, and budget.
• CAPM or PMP is recommended / within 2 years of becoming Project Manager II.

Responsibilities

• Manage small to large O&M and Capital projects with budget and milestones.
• Build and develop project teams for high performance.
• Lead requirements through deployment, identify schedules, scopes and risk mitigation.
• Coordinate internal and external resources to meet scope, schedule and budget.
• Report status and changes to client stakeholders; update scope/budget as needed.
• Perform Emergency Response Organization (ERO) duties as assigned.
