Job summary

AbbVie is seeking an Operation Project Manager to drive NPI and plant efficiency initiatives. You will oversee launches, set program strategy, manage a matrixed team, and ensure financial oversight in alignment with the long-range plan.

Responsibilities include creating plans, budgets, and communicating progress to leadership, with a focus on risk mitigation and strategic vision for products and facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science or technical field; MBA preferred.
• 5-10 years in supply chain, manufacturing, engineering or PM with broad business view.
• Strong strategy, planning and data-driven problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of NPI projects from strategy to launch targets.
• Set site NPI program strategy with stage/gate meetings and timelines.
• Matrix manage site operations team for NPI projects.
• Create project plans, budgets and translate into actionable steps.
• Provide periodic updates of progress to plant management.
• Represent status to MES and external leadership as needed.
