Job summary

AbbVie is seeking an experienced Engineering Project Lead to guide the project engineering sub-team on a strategic capital project. You will be responsible for scheduling, execution, risk management, and reporting to the Project Director, applying advanced engineering knowledge with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, science, or closely related discipline; 8+ years of significant engineering/operational experience.
Strong technical knowledge and ability to solve complex problems across disciplines.
Experience leading cross-functional teams and communicating with senior management.
Background in health care, medical devices, pharmaceutical, biologics, or similar industries preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead the project engineering sub-team on a Strategic Capital Project and drive schedule, execution, risk management, and reporting.
Ensure compliance with policies and procedures; implement risk assessments and fallback strategies.
