Job summary

Preferred Behavioral Health Group, an award-winning nonprofit in New Jersey, invites applications for a Comptroller in a full-time, in-person role at Office 52 Hyers Street, Toms River. You will coordinate annual budgets, ROEs, and monthly statements and supervise Accounts Payable and cash management under the CFO.

Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with funders and auditors, preparing analytical reports for the Board, and maintaining accurate records for a complex state-mandated

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent.
• 10+ years of non-profit accounting/financial management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage time-sensitive fiscal reporting and audits.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate annual budgets for PBHG and affiliated entities.
• Prepare ROEs and monthly financial statements for the Board and CFO.
• Supervise Accounts Payable and cash management activities.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and contractual obligations.
• Interface with funders, auditors, and program staff.
