Job summary

Preferred Behavioral Health Group in New Jersey is seeking a Comptroller in the Finance program. This in-person, full-time role reports to the CFO and coordinates the annual budgets, ROEs, and monthly financial statements for PBHG.

The position oversees accounts payable, cash management, and compliance with funders and auditors. A bachelor’s degree in accounting and 10 years of nonprofit accounting experience are strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Education - Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• Experience - 10 years’ experience in Non-Profit Accounting and Financial Management strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate preparation of budgets for the consolidated PBHG.
• Supervise Accounts Payable operations and ensure timely vendor payments.
• Oversee Cash Management and provide weekly reports to CFO.
• Interface with funders, auditors and program staff to ensure compliance.
• Prepare work papers for fiscal year-end and coordinate with auditors.
