Job summary

Lafayette YMCA in Lafayette, CO is seeking a strategic Chief Financial Officer to lead financial operations across Colorado YMCAs. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• MBA/CPA/CMA or advanced credential preferred.
• 8–10 years of progressive accounting/financial leadership experience.
• Experience in nonprofit or YMCA multi-site environments preferred.
• Ability to design shared financial services scalable for multiple associations.
• Strong collaboration with executive leadership, boards and committees.

Responsibilities

• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, reporting, treasury, and investments.
• Maintain internal controls, compliance, audits, Form 990 readiness.
• Lead shared services staffing model and cost allocation across associations.
• Report financial performance to executives and the Board.
• Develop leaders and partner with operational teams on capital decisions.
• Ensure regulatory and statutory compliance at state and federal levels.
