Job summary

Continental is seeking an Human Resources Business Partner to align HR initiatives with business goals for a manufacturing environment. This role supports night shift operations from 4:00pm to 12:30am, with occasional day shift coverage, and collaborates on workforce planning, leadership development, and employee relations.

The role emphasizes change management, data-driven HR decisions, and building strong partnerships with leaders and the Talent Management team to drive organizational growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3 to 5+ years of HR experience with progressive responsibility in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations, performance management, and employment practices in manufacturing.
• Experience using HR data and analytics to support business decisions.
• Excellent communication, coaching, influencing, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR partner for night shift employees and leaders on the shift with occasional day coverage.
• Partner with leaders to develop workforce plans, forecast staffing needs, and build talent pipelines.
• Support succession planning, employee development, and leadership growth initiatives.
• Provide guidance on employee relations, conflict resolution, and workplace concerns; foster inclusive culture.
• Coach managers on performance management, goal setting, accountability, and team effectiveness.
• Collaborate with Talent Management and Organizational Development teams to drive leadership development.
• Support compensation and benefits programs through market benchmarking and employee communications.
• Lead organizational change initiatives and employee engagement activities.
• Analyze HR metrics and workforce trends to identify risks and opportunities; communicate insights to leadership.
• Facilitate clear communication between leadership and employees.
• Ensure compliance with employment policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements with ESH teams.
