Bayer in the United States seeks a National Account Director - Health Systems to drive sales growth within major health systems, integrated delivery networks (IDNs) and hospital networks. You will lead cross-functional teams, develop account strategies, coach regional staff, and collaborate with health systems marketing to execute initiatives and achieve targets.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, or related field.
Minimum 5 years in pharmaceutical sales with hospital/health system experience.
Experience with formulary and pathway adoption.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Willingness to travel 25–50% regionally; nationally travel as required.

Responsibilities

Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop a strategic account sales plan to reach targets within health systems, hospital networks, and value-based care companies.
Identify opportunities to grow product adoption with relevant RADs and win new business in health systems.
Monitor market trends and adjust sales strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
Provide coaching and development to RADs and cross-functional teams to ensure best practices.
Coordinate with Learning and Development to organize training sessions on products, regulations, and account management.
Engage in business development activities, including conferences and stakeholder meetings.
Regularly report on sales performance and market trends; analyze data to identify improvements.
