Job summary

Bayer seeks a National Account Director for Health Systems to drive sales and market growth within major health networks, IDNs, and value-based care organizations across the USA. You will collaborate with regional leadership to execute strategy, develop account plans, and deliver on sales goals while influencing formulary and reimbursement decisions.

You will travel regionally (25–50%) and partner with market-facing teams to optimize product adoption, provide guidance on healthcare system needs,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, or related field (Advanced degree preferred).
Minimum of 5 years in pharmaceutical sales with hospital/health system experience.
Experience with formulary and pathway adoption for health systems or hospitals.
Heart failure experience is preferred and advanced knowledge is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Develop a strategic account sales plan to achieve targets in health systems and hospital networks.
Collaborate with RADs and AGMs to identify opportunities for product adoption.
Monitor market trends and adjust sales strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
Lead and coach regional RADs to meet sales objectives and KPIs.
Coordinate with Learning and Development for product and regulatory training.
Engage in conferences, trade shows, and meetings with healthcare stakeholders.
Serve as subject matter expert for the CVR franchise within health systems.
Understand formulary, pathway, purchasing, and reimbursement practices to position products.
