Job summary

MetLife in Bloomington, MN is seeking a National Accounts Client Service Consultant to provide end-to-end administrative support and high-touch service to complex group insurance clients in the United States. You will partner closely with Account Executives and internal MetLife teams to manage relationships and day-to-day account administration.

• High School Diploma or equivalent with insurance/account management experience.
• Proven client-facing account management experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Solid knowledge of employee benefits; travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day administration and service delivery for multiple National Accounts clients with Account Executive.
• Serve as the primary client liaison, ensuring clear communication between clients and MetLife partners.
• Coordinate and facilitate ongoing client meetings (in person and virtual) with agendas and materials.
• Provide consultative and alternative solutions to client requests aligned with client needs.
• Deliver exceptional customer service through timely execution and responsiveness.
• Lead client account audits and strategic planning with financial teams and internal stakeholders.
• Act as a key resource supporting the Customer Unit and National Accounts teams.
• Collaborate with Proposal Unit to research and respond to RFP questionnaires.
• Support contract execution by understanding key provisions and ensuring compliance.
• Maintain knowledge of competitor products, industry trends, and regulatory developments.
• Apply product and systems knowledge across MetLife’s group insurance offerings.
