Sony Pictures Entertainment is seeking an Analyst, North American Distribution Research to support the distribution and monetization of film and TV content across the U.S. and Canada.

You will partner with multiple teams and coordinate with research groups to drive data-informed decisions for sales and monetization strategies. The role is based in New York and reports to the Executive Director of North American Distribution Research, with a focus on delivering clear analyses and insights for

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 1+ year of professional experience in media and entertainment.
• Experience using data and analytics tools in a business setting.
• Ability to distill complex information clearly in writing and in presentations.
• Highly adaptable, organized, with multi-tasking capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Operate within a cross-functional research team to support North American Distribution.
• Communicate SPT business needs and provide data-driven insights.
• Collect, consolidate and analyze data from multiple sources with quality control.
• Deliver clear, impactful analyses on content, industry and consumer insights.
• Create sales presentations for SPT platforms and advertisers.
• Provide project management support as workloads require.
• Present verbal and written insights to Senior Management and Sales.
