Sony Pictures Television, Inc. is seeking an Analyst, North American Distribution Research to support data-driven decisions across the U.S. and Canada.

You will work within a cross-functional team to analyze data, synthesize insights, and prepare compelling presentations for Sales and distribution platforms. You will distill complex information for senior leaders, coordinate multiple workstreams in a matrix environment, and help ensure data integrity across sources.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 1+ year of professional experience in media and entertainment.
• Experience using data and analytics tools successfully in a business environment.
• Able to distill and effectively communicate complex information clearly and concisely in writing and presentations.
• Must be highly adaptable and flexible, highly organized, able to multi-task: coordinate and prioritize multiple workstreams.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work well with others; flexing between lead and support roles as necessary.
• Familiarity with Nielsen Ratings and products and systems a strong plus.
• Familiarity with analytics tools like Tableau, Google Analytics and Omniture also a plus.
• Proficiency with MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Aufgaben

• Operate within a cross-functional research team, as part of a larger North American Distribution team, as it supports all functions of SPT Businesses.
• Understand and communicate SPT business needs - supporting Sales and all complimentary business teams with data and insights.
• Collect, consolidate and analyze data from multiple sources while ensuring data quality and the integrity of its business implications.
• Provide strong, clear, impactful analyses to uncover and communicate content, industry and consumer insights across SPT.
• Create sales presentations for all platforms of SPT Distribution and Advertiser Sales.
• Project Management and Support, as business needs, department and individual workloads dictate.
• Deliver verbal and written insights to Senior Management, Sales and other team leaders.
