Encore Multi Family (EMF) is seeking an experienced Apartment Asset Manager to oversee the financial performance, operations, and strategic positioning of a multifamily portfolio based in Phoenix, AZ. You will partner with property management, executives, investors, and lenders to maximize asset value.

The role requires strong budgeting, NOI analysis, and market insight, with responsibility for capital projects, leasing, and performance reporting to drive results.

Qualifications

• This role requires 5+ years in multifamily asset management or related real estate fields.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, NOI analysis, and financial reporting skills are essential.
• Experience with capital projects, renovations, and market analysis is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage annual operating budgets, forecasts, and capex plans.
• Analyze monthly financials, NOI, and KPIs; identify revenue and expense opportunities.
• Prepare performance reports and present variances to EEI Board.
• Collaborate with property management, investors, lenders, and leadership.
• Oversee leasing performance, pricing strategies, renovations, and major projects.
• Conduct quarterly property visits and oversee underperforming assets.
• Create business plans aligned with ownership goals, including value-add and refinancing.
• Perform market and competitive analyses to guide positioning.
• Manage vendor contracts, staffing, and third-party management relationships.
• Support investor and lender reporting, loan compliance, and capital markets activities.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, insurance, and fair housing standards.
• Provide guidance and feedback to on-site teams; maintain dashboards and reporting.
